The Cluster Meeting 2021 is a topical international conference with main focus on catalysis, reactivity, characterization, imaging and modeling of primarily size-selected clusters, both free and supported. Selected hot topics from related areas of cluster science will be included and special sessions on future perspectives will be devoted to emerging theoretical and experimental approaches. The scientific program will include invited lectures, hot-topic and contributed talks, and posters, which will be showcased during all breaks and in a dedicated poster session, offering plenty of time for discussions. The goal of the conference is to promote scientific exchange and interdisciplinary collaborations so as to accelerate progress in this exciting field of nanoscience.
Health, safety, and wellbeing of attendees and conference staff is of highest priority. With the goal to warrant social distancing and compliance with any COVID-restrictions that may occur, the venue was changed to a modern circus tent with a seating capacity of over 600, to be occupied at 15-20% and added spacious dining areas. On-line format / feeds are not planned.
While the organization of Clustermeeting 2021 in May 9 – 14, 2021 is at place, we have worked out a backup plan for this live meeting, in view of the hardly predictable evolution of the pandemic and its impacts. Thus, the same venue has been secured for a backup date of July 18 – 23, 2021. Please mark both dates on your calendar accordingly!
